I switched to the newer Yahoo Web Hosting several months back. Now I get billed for both. When I attempt to cancel the old service I get redirected to the sign-up page.
How do I cancel Yahoo legacy website services, and stop getting double billed.?

recently I purchased a Domain name (www.myname.com) and I want to redirect it to a free web hosting site where my site is located, so how do I do it, what is the procedure, say if I want to redirect it to my myspace profile..
Please I'm racked my brains but no use.

I see all these spam emails and popups, but is there a low to no cost way to earn money? I can do data entry or even surveys, but web hosting or selling merchandise, anh, not so much.

Ive been hacked! what legal action can I take?
Sensible answers only, this is most annoying.
I have web hosting with Yahoo (Business Account) and I recently found out I was a victim of some (Arabian hacking group).
As far as I know, the server is running within the United States, however my business is running within the UK.
I contacted the FBI deciding it was an attack on american property. They forwarded me onto the embassy for the US within London who told me to speak to my local constabulary. I approached my local police with the information here (plus more) and said this person may have access to my financial credientials. They recommended I shut my accounts with the bank and informed them. I took that action. But I now need to know what action will yahoo take to fix this problem and what legal action and who I should speak to about bringing this hacker to justice (I will go to any length to make a example out of him, hes ruining my work flow). Best regards and please help if possible.

I'd be more interested in securing your server then justice across the world - like you are going to identify who did it without root access to all the servers and routers involved, and maybe not even then.
If you are using software on yahoo's servers that you left unsecured somehow - you'd be surprised how easy that is, then you are going to need to fix that or you are going to be hacked again.
Trouble is, you are barking up the wrong tree looking for "justice" you will never get because it messes up your workflow, instead of investing in either preventative security or at least forensic identification and correction of issues found.
If you said you know some "Arabs" broke into your house, would you chase them all over the world, or would you fix your locks first?

I would go to www.cyberpowerpc.com to get the system. You'll get much more computer for your money than with Dell and an automatic 3 yr warranty at no extra cost. This place is kind of geared to gaming computers, but if you are going to be doing video editing and want good graphics, the needs are the same. Here are some specs which I feel will help you in your stated needs.
-Intel E6600 Core2 duo processor
-320 mb hard drive with 16mb cache (at least)
-If doing sound mixing, spring for the dedicated sound card.
-nVidia 7900 or higher video card with at least 256mb video ram. If prefer ATI video cards, go with X1950 or one of their All In Wonder cards for the video inputs.
-Dual layer dvd +/- r/rw drive. 2nd dvd drive convenient.
-2 gb RAM
They offer Microsoft Office as an option. Sharing files is controlled by you, right click on folder you wish to share and left click on "Sharing and Security"

Reply:For starters the MS Office is about $500. I paid around $400 for an upgrade to the new 2007 version. Computers don't come with that standard, you have to pay extra for that. Other than that, I think you're out of your budget. You could try Dell or HP or Systemax, or go to a private computer maker and have one specially built for you with your specs and needs. But again, I think what you want is out of your budget already.

To create a successful online text based game like legend arena, you need to have a few main skills and tools. I have outlined them below...
1) You need some programming experience in PHP or some other server-side language. You can start your learning of PHP (I prefer this language since it is so flexible) at http://www.php.net and/or reading a book on PHP like "Visual blueprint PHP" by Whitehead/Desamero. Another book that is pretty good is "Programming PHP" by O'reilly press.
2) You need a host that offers cron jobs (for timing the execution of scripts and keep track of world time in the game.)
3) Need a host that offers PHP as a server-side language.
4) You need a database to store the information about players, battles, levels, experience etc. Most hosts provide MySQL with their hosting package. It is also one of the better databases to use with PHP. This database is fast and very well documented, plus its stable.
5) Learn about basic game design so you can balance the game a bit and help it grow to the next level.
6) Patience...patience.. and did I mention patience? Games like this will take time. Start small and build up to something bigger.
7) Lastly, you probably will want a good graphics program to make the graphics for the game and maybe flash if you want to make the graphics more animated. I recommend using a combination of Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Maybe some fireworks MX for the animations.
