Be certain that he didn't place that for you to find and I am sorry in either case. I would have someone follow him and make sure of what is going on. If he is being unfaithful then you must make a Choice but I would say if you have an unfaithful husband that he will never be faithful to you. Do you want to share him with whoever he finds? Do you want to share the chance of getting unspeakable diseases that may/may not be curable? Do you feel it important to ramain with him? These are all questions that must be asked. I hope that you make a decision that will be best for you and your family. I am sorry that this has happened but it has. Make whatever decision you must as soon as you are able to do so. Save yourself the money and skip the dotcom nonsense until you have something to put up, by using a free server such as Yahoo's Geocities to get started, you'll save yourself at the very least several hundred dollars.
Reply:godaddy.com also offer with any hosting plan you buy some free cms easy to install (like joomla, mambo, and so on). Using these cms you can easily create a website with dynamic content based on databases (MySQL). It might sound difficult but it's really easy.
Just go to www.opensourcecms.com and test a version of free cms that would suit you best.
The advantages of cms would be that you don't need to be a web developer in order to have a good website able to allow people to register, to post comment or reviews on you site. Everything is very easy.
However I wouldn't recommend goddady hosting for any of the cms as their server run quite slow these websites (I know as I have a website on their server, and just wait to go to another provider as soon as my account expires).
You should look for MySQL, PHP support, Apache for your hosting, I would recommend a Linux hosting.

Basically you need to get yourself a router, once you have selected one you follow the directions that come with the router and set it up to share your connection to the internet with all computers in the house and then set up your computers to see each other.
It is not as difficult as it sounds, and the router directions are fairly simple.

After reading the books and making copies of certain pages with a photo copier simply return it to them.

Reply:Who is hosting your site? A lot of hosts now have online editors where you can use your own html or use one of their templates. I'm on Angelfire and the online editor is very easy. There are basic html scripts all over the web, just search html. Also the html for dummies book is very good.
If you put your cursor over any page and right click, there will be View Source in the box. Click it. Another box will come up showing you all the code that went into creating that page.

Reply:From the view point of a MCP, I think you should get your hands on Microsoft Office, no later then office XP, in it, you shall find a copy of Microsoft Frontpage, a pretty stright foward web page editor, it also has publishing features, in a WYSIWUG (what you see is what you get) interface. However, if your new to html, you really pretty much do not have to know jack about html anymore. To get a good looking site. You just need a pretty advrage web buliding software.... I use Macromedia (now Adobe) DreamWeaver, its really the top end as far as web buliding softwares go, however, like I said, Microsoft FrontPage does a NICE NICE job! the publishing aspect is WAY EASY... go to file, publish, and then you type in your web sites name... www.whatever.com and then your password. and then depending on your connection Volia' your on! Its that easy muh'man. My website loads ok on my computer except none of the photos appear-not even as white squares with red crosses in them! Another question, unlikely as it may be, have you checked the source code on the displayed page to see if it shows the the image tags. You could also post the site url so the code can be examined.

I used them for web hosting and they pretended not to receive my TWO cancellation notices. They say the broadband is with them, even though there has been no usage for the last 3 months. They have agreed to stop any further bills, but still want us to pay for the 3 months since the account was transferred from them. We`re still arguing with them.

i want my "new" server to check my all other sites (page by page) automatically (and periodically) for accessibility.
my site (and it's SiteMap) changes about 10 times a day.
so i want my server to get links from sitemap and check those links for accessibility. (i don't need serious Log)
please help me to set up this. (using script or other way)
i know C, HTML, and VB programing. But new to java. and knows nothing about Php.

I wonder what other people think, if you own a server, Linux-based server, co-located at ISP.
Besides cheap web hosting, I don't know what should I do to more make money out of it.
I just use, normally 10% of the server resource and several megabytes per day bandwidth, and need to pay several hundreds per month.
My head cracked thinking about this... have a good server but still broke.

I, however, would never recommend to anyone that they get their own server. If my server goes down, even though it's colocated and there is staff at the co-location that handles it after i alert them of the problem, it still makes my heart miss a beat and takes a few years off my life every time it happens - way too much stress.
So, my recommendation would be to share a server - you can get accounts for about $40/month where you get about 1/5th of the server. that way you are paying less, still have more room than you need, and it is 100% up to the hosting provider, not you , to ensure that it is always up and running.
With this solution, you would pay less and therefore make more.

Listen! I will tell you what is involved in creating your own Web site.
Don't fall prey to those "Free" Web site builders that only give you a few pages. However, NVU, is a free Web site builder that allows you to build Web sites right, for free and as many pages as your want, thousands even.. More on that later.
Just creating a Web site will not attact targeted traffic. What is traffic?
Glad you asked because it's the heart and soul of a Web site's success.
Listen! Targeted traffic is the name of the game. Without traffic your Web site will be invisible to the search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo, Ask). There are others, but they a insignificant compared to the majors.
Targeted traffic is visitors coming to your Web site for information. They are not looking for your Web site. Nope. They are looking for relevant information. If your Web site is just a few pages, the search engines will never find you.
Most new people to Web site building will fall prey to the many so-called "free" web sites and waste a lot of time on them and achieve little in the way of targeted traffic. The theme of your Web site should be something you are very interested in (http://passion.sitesell.com/waltera1.htm... It just doesn't make sense to create a Web site and then have it ignored by the search engines (SEs). The major SEs are Google, Yahoo!, MSC, and Ask. If they don't know you are there, your Web site, for all practical purpose, is invisible. SEs find you when you have lots of content - many pages of information, relevant to the theme of your Web site.
You see, there are thousands of web sites that purport to create a free Web site. What they don't tell you is how to attract targeted traffic via the search engines (Yahoo,Google,Msn, Ask). Web site creation is all you get. Amazon has a program to tell you how popular your Web site is here: (http://traffic-test.sitesell.com/waltera... The program is called Alexa and it will compare a Web site to 65 million active Web sites and give you a rank as to how you stand in that 65 million Web site universe. 500,000 is good, but anything under 100,000 is terriffic. Google is under 10 the last time I looked. If your Web site is not recognized by the SEs, then your Alexa rank will be "no data". A no date rank means the Web site is invisible to the SEs. Invisible means no visitors, no visitors means no targeted traffic, no traffic = no money. Creating your Web site was a waste of time.
And you might be able to create 5 or 10 pages at most, even less, before they begin to nickel and dime you to death with add-ons that cost money and before you know it the "free" web site costs over $300 and more, assuming you don't drop out by this time because the Web site just doesn't work and you may have wasted a year on this fruitless effort.
Many people new to Web site creation believe that you just create a Web site and they will come. Like the baseball movie, Field of Dreams (1989), where Kevin Costner creates a baseball field in the middle of nowhere and soon thousands are flocking to the field.
This only happens in the movies, not in real life.
You must attract the search engines(SEs). The most cost effective way to do that is by creating lots of Web pages with quality, relevant content (information) that matches user's needs and requirements for information..
Potential visitors do not look for a web site per se. They do not enter your Web Address. They are looking for information. They do not enter your Web site URL into an SE. They enter keywords or phrases into the SE and the SE responds with millions of Web sites in many cases and then the surfer may make his keyword more relevant and try again. Most surfers only look at the first few pages even though there may be millions of hits on a particular keyword.
So the first thing you must do is to brainstorm you keywords - which keywords are relevant to the theme of your Web site.
But this is not enough. Remember the concept of supply and demand?
Let me explain. If there is a low supply of something, say a commodity like coffee, that means that there is not much available. What happens if many people all want a lot of coffee. That creates a big demand for coffee, but when they go to buy coffee the price has gone up. It went up because the demand exceeded the supply. This causes the coffee growers to grow more coffee. They grow too much and there is a big supply, so the price drops because the demand has dropped owing to the increase in the supplies of coffee.
The same concept can be applied to keywords or phrases. Really scarce keywords with hardly any supply related to your Web site theme.
How do you find those keywords that have a huge demand and very little supply?
Aye, that's the rub.
One of the ways to do this without spending any money is to use Google's AdWord tool: (https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywor...
This tool is actually intended to help advertisers decide which keywords to buy. It provides Demand (they call it "Search Volume") and "Advertiser Competition" (another kind of Demand for your keywords!). This tool even provides the "monetary value" (optional) of your keywords (i.e., what advertisers can expect to pay).
So what do you (a publisher (a Web site builder), not an advertiser) look for? Remember this for now...
* the more relevant keywords that are generated by this tool,
* the greater the Demand ("Search Volume") for the keywords,
* the greater the "Advertiser Competition", and
* the more the keywords cost advertisers...
... the better for you!
Just go through the tutorials that Google has to offer.
The other tool for keywords is Worktracker - it is not free, but is the best on the Web for analyzing keyword demand and supply: (http://www.wordtracker.com/index.html). Try their free trial. I entered "free keyword analysis" into Google and got 11 million hits so you know it's a hot topic.
Once you know what your keywords are, they form the basis of creating Web pages for your Web site. You sprinkle relevant keywords throughout your Web page. These will attract the SEs and if you have enough pages, you will rise up through the ranks and hopefully achieve a listing on the first page of the SEs.
The SEs use software called "spiders". The spiders job is to crawl the entire universe of Web sites and index them by keyword. The database index is why they can return an answer so fast because there are now a billion Web sites or so and still growing fast.
You keep adding pages to your Web site - the more pages the better. That's why the phrase, "Content is King!" came about. The SEs love lots of high quality content.
That's also why most 5 - 10 page Web sites attract no targeted traffic. The SEs just ignore them.
However, all is not lost because once you get to about 30 pages, the SEs begin to take notice. When you reach 50 pages, you may see a page ranked number one in an SE, but don't stop there. Keep adding pages - just one a day would mount up to 365 in one year.
Now, where do you find software that can build your Web site. Here is one that is free and it's a lot like Microsoft's Front Page. These are sometimes called WYSIWYG editors, pronounced "wizeewhig" and means "What You See Is What You Get". Another more expensive editor is Macromedia's Dreamweaver, but this costs several hundred dollars.

There are free hosting sites, but you have to put up with their advertising all over your pages. There is really no "free lunch"; there's always a catch.
Once you have your domain name and host, you upload your Web site to your hosting supplier or server and you are published on the web. As you create more pages, you continue to upload those pages to your host server.
That's what it takes to get published, but we are not done yet. We now have to get recognized by the SEs. If you have enough high quality content and are patient, eventually the SEs will discover you. Impatient people use something called Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Internet Marketing. a) If you are new to html and you want to set up simple, effective websites yourself, I recommend Jim Edward's Mini Site Course.
b) If the affiliate programs you have joined relate to ClickBank, Amazon %26amp; PayDotCom and if you want to build Adsense websites, go for HyperVRE.

Listen! I will tell you what is involved in creating your own Web site.
Don't fall prey to those "Free" Web site builders that only give you a few pages. However, NVU, is a free Web site builder that allows you to build Web sites right, for free and as many pages as your want, thousands even.. More on that later.
Just creating a Web site will not attact targeted traffic. What is traffic?
Glad you asked because it's the heart and soul of a Web site's success.
Listen! Targeted traffic is the name of the game. Without traffic your Web site will be invisible to the search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo, Ask). There are others, but they a insignificant compared to the majors.
Targeted traffic is visitors coming to your Web site for information. They are not looking for your Web site. Nope. They are looking for relevant information. If your Web site is just a few pages, the search engines will never find you.
Most new people to Web site building will fall prey to the many so-called "free" web sites and waste a lot of time on them and achieve little in the way of targeted traffic. The theme of your Web site should be something you are very interested in (http://passion.sitesell.com/waltera1.htm... It just doesn't make sense to create a Web site and then have it ignored by the search engines (SEs). The major SEs are Google, Yahoo!, MSC, and Ask. If they don't know you are there, your Web site, for all practical purpose, is invisible. SEs find you when you have lots of content - many pages of information, relevant to the theme of your Web site.
You see, there are thousands of web sites that purport to create a free Web site. What they don't tell you is how to attract targeted traffic via the search engines (Yahoo,Google,Msn, Ask). Web site creation is all you get. Amazon has a program to tell you how popular your Web site is here: (http://traffic-test.sitesell.com/waltera... The program is called Alexa and it will compare a Web site to 65 million active Web sites and give you a rank as to how you stand in that 65 million Web site universe. 500,000 is good, but anything under 100,000 is terriffic. Google is under 10 the last time I looked. If your Web site is not recognized by the SEs, then your Alexa rank will be "no data". A no date rank means the Web site is invisible to the SEs. Invisible means no visitors, no visitors means no targeted traffic, no traffic = no money. Creating your Web site was a waste of time.
And you might be able to create 5 or 10 pages at most, even less, before they begin to nickel and dime you to death with add-ons that cost money and before you know it the "free" web site costs over $300 and more, assuming you don't drop out by this time because the Web site just doesn't work and you may have wasted a year on this fruitless effort.
Many people new to Web site creation believe that you just create a Web site and they will come. Like the baseball movie, Field of Dreams (1989), where Kevin Costner creates a baseball field in the middle of nowhere and soon thousands are flocking to the field.
This only happens in the movies, not in real life.
You must attract the search engines(SEs). The most cost effective way to do that is by creating lots of Web pages with quality, relevant content (information) that matches user's needs and requirements for information..
Potential visitors do not look for a web site per se. They do not enter your Web Address. They are looking for information. They do not enter your Web site URL into an SE. They enter keywords or phrases into the SE and the SE responds with millions of Web sites in many cases and then the surfer may make his keyword more relevant and try again. Most surfers only look at the first few pages even though there may be millions of hits on a particular keyword.
So the first thing you must do is to brainstorm you keywords - which keywords are relevant to the theme of your Web site.
But this is not enough. Remember the concept of supply and demand?
Let me explain. If there is a low supply of something, say a commodity like coffee, that means that there is not much available. What happens if many people all want a lot of coffee. That creates a big demand for coffee, but when they go to buy coffee the price has gone up. It went up because the demand exceeded the supply. This causes the coffee growers to grow more coffee. They grow too much and there is a big supply, so the price drops because the demand has dropped owing to the increase in the supplies of coffee.
The same concept can be applied to keywords or phrases. Really scarce keywords with hardly any supply related to your Web site theme.
How do you find those keywords that have a huge demand and very little supply?
Aye, that's the rub.
One of the ways to do this without spending any money is to use Google's AdWord tool: (https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywor...
This tool is actually intended to help advertisers decide which keywords to buy. It provides Demand (they call it "Search Volume") and "Advertiser Competition" (another kind of Demand for your keywords!). This tool even provides the "monetary value" (optional) of your keywords (i.e., what advertisers can expect to pay).
So what do you (a publisher (a Web site builder), not an advertiser) look for? Remember this for now...
* the more relevant keywords that are generated by this tool,
* the greater the Demand ("Search Volume") for the keywords,
* the greater the "Advertiser Competition", and
* the more the keywords cost advertisers...
... the better for you!
Just go through the tutorials that Google has to offer.
The other tool for keywords is Worktracker - it is not free, but is the best on the Web for analyzing keyword demand and supply: (http://www.wordtracker.com/index.html). Try their free trial. I entered "free keyword analysis" into Google and got 11 million hits so you know it's a hot topic.
Once you know what your keywords are, they form the basis of creating Web pages for your Web site. You sprinkle relevant keywords throughout your Web page. These will attract the SEs and if you have enough pages, you will rise up through the ranks and hopefully achieve a listing on the first page of the SEs.
The SEs use software called "spiders". The spiders job is to crawl the entire universe of Web sites and index them by keyword. The database index is why they can return an answer so fast because there are now a billion Web sites or so and still growing fast.
You keep adding pages to your Web site - the more pages the better. That's why the phrase, "Content is King!" came about. The SEs love lots of high quality content.
That's also why most 5 - 10 page Web sites attract no targeted traffic. The SEs just ignore them.
However, all is not lost because once you get to about 30 pages, the SEs begin to take notice. When you reach 50 pages, you may see a page ranked number one in an SE, but don't stop there. Keep adding pages - just one a day would mount up to 365 in one year.
Now, where do you find software that can build your Web site. Here is one that is free and it's a lot like Microsoft's Front Page. These are sometimes called WYSIWYG editors, pronounced "wizeewhig" and means "What You See Is What You Get". Another more expensive editor is Macromedia's Dreamweaver, but this costs several hundred dollars.

There are free hosting sites, but you have to put up with their advertising all over your pages. There is really no "free lunch"; there's always a catch.
Once you have your domain name and host, you upload your Web site to your hosting supplier or server and you are published on the web. As you create more pages, you continue to upload those pages to your host server.
That's what it takes to get published, but we are not done yet. We now have to get recognized by the SEs. If you have enough high quality content and are patient, eventually the SEs will discover you. Impatient people use something called Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Internet Marketing. Here is a new book that does just that: "Search Engine Optimization - An Hour A Day" by Jennifer Grappone and Gradiva Couzin.
Then, there is Brad Tabke's "26 steps to 15K a day". It boils down to solid content thoughtfully put together can make more impact than a decade's worth of tweaks that may or may not work such as fiddling with META tags. I would really be remiss if I did not mention how I created my Web sites. They were created with Site Build It! a Web site builder developed by Sitesell, Inc., a Canadian company that has been around since 1967 and has helped people world-wide to create their own Web sites (over 20,000). It does all of the above utilizing 50 programs (http://results.sitesell.com/waltera1.htm... No geeky knowledge required. Hardly any PC knowledge is necessary and it creates pages fast and uploads them to the host server automatically.
You may want to check it out, before going it alone. A forum is offered that gives budding Web site builders lots of help.

Let's begin to create your first web page. To make this truly the easiest guide, we will ignore some technical terms and details that you don't need to know right now.
This tutorial will guide you in creating a simple web page containing text, image, links to other web pages, and email link. What you need for this tutorial is only a simple text editor program like Notepad or other programs that you use for writing text on your machine. If you're using Windows 95/98, just click 'Start' -%26gt; 'Programs' -%26gt; 'Accessories' -%26gt; 'Notepad'
First, type the first line of our web page

then type this

You can type them in capital case or lower case. It doesn't matter. I typed them in capital to make it easy to read. Nothing has happened yet; we have just told the browsers (Netscape, Internet Explorer, and etc.) that this is a HTML document. The first %26lt;HTML%26gt; is to tell the browser that "Here's the begining of HTML section." %26lt;/HTML%26gt; tells the browsers that "Here's the end of HTML section." Inside these two tags is where you will put the contents of your web page in.
Notice that we have %26lt;HTML%26gt; and %26lt;/HTML%26gt;. This is how we open and close HTML tags. The closing tag is always in %26lt;/.....%26gt; format. In most case, you will have to close every tag that you open.
Next, add a HEAD section to your web page.

An easy rule to remember is to put the quotation marks in every attribute.
