Hi. My host has 'lost' my web site has has not been able to find their backups for 2 weeks - can I sue them?

I run an ecommerve site and two weeks ago my host 'lost' my site - they are still not sure what has happened.

They can also not find any of their daily backups of the site.

So far I would estimaet I have lost about $8,000.00 in sales. not to mention my entire customer database.

Can I sue them for lost revenue - does anyone know a law firm that would handle this type of case?

Thanks

I'd read my contract first; most web setups exclude a claim for this kind of loss

I bet in the contract you signed it says not responsible..Always read those little words because as in life little things mean a lot!!
Reply:Why wouldn't you keep a copy of your site, it was your site not theirs

Always best to do it yourself
